"The Ongoing Saga of Urban Bigfoot"
(2005-2008)
is a series of photograph-based works, telling the story of the character "Urban Bigfoot". It isn´t a story with a beginning and an end. The works can be viewed seperately and in random order. Our hero wanders around the city (photographic material was gathered in cities around the Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain) contemplating life in general and his own life in particular in a rather pompous and ambiguous way. His story, his image, develops in the fragments. Text plays an important role in these works. (created in Dutch and English Language versions) (PDF files)
